This is where you can find out about the steps required to obtaining your own Kart licence. At first it may appear donating however everything you need is listed here. |

Minimum Requirements: |
|
|
· Any kart complying with MSA regulations.
· A crash helmet and overalls.
· You must be at least 8 years old and hold a competition Licence (other than for Kart Endurance Licenses). You may also need a Medical Certificate. |

|
|
Before you can apply for your first Kart Licence, you must do the following: |
|
|
Obtain a " Go Karting " pack from the MSA which contains a DVD, the MSA Kart Race Yearbook, the MSA Competitors Yearbook, a list of organising clubs, and useful advice on driving techniques. |
|
|
If 18 or over and applying for a 'normal' (not Endurance) licence, you must obtain a medical certificate (the form for completion is in the "Starting Karting" pack). |
|
|
|
|
Complete a half-day MSA assessment for novice kart racers, run by members of the Association of Racing Kart Schools (ARKS) .
